Description |
Sometimes "bit-select" and "part-select" are written with hypens and sometimes with a space. I think it should always be a hyphen. Also, how should it be written when you want to refer to both bit-selects and part-selects? Sometimes, as in Table 30, it appears as "bit and part selects". Then, it is not always clear that "bit" refers to "selects". The clearest way to write would be "bit-selects and part-selects". Lacking that, you could write "bit- and part-selects". -- Shalom Bresticker Shalom.Bresticker@motorola.com Design & Reuse Methodology Tel: +972 9 9522268 Motorola Semiconductor Israel, Ltd.
