Description |
5.1.10 "Bit-wise operators" starts, "The bit-wise operators shall perform bit-wise manipulations on the operands-that is, the operator shall combine a bit in one operand with its corresponding bit in the other operand to calculate one bit for the result. Logic Table 5-11 through Table 5-15 show the results for each possible calculation." The word "Logic" beginning the last sentence is preferably stricken, especially because "Table 5-11" is in underlined blue. Similarly, 5.1.11 "Reduction operators" starts, "The unary reduction operators shall perform a bit-wise operation on a single operand to produce a single bit result. For reduction and, reduction or, and reduction xor operators, the first step of the operation shall apply the operator between the first bit of the operand and the second using logic Table 5-16 through Table 5-18." It is recommended to strike "logic" before "Table 5-16". Shalom |
