Description |
This is a PLI issue parallel to issue #323 in the first part of the LRM. IEEE Standards Style Manual says that a "NOTE" is not part of the standard, it is only informative. Some NOTES in 1364-2001 are intended to be normative, in particular in 26.6. All the NOTES should be reviewed to decided which are normative and changed to regular parts of the standard text. In addition to notes, other parts of the LRM which are not official parts of the standard are examples (including comments in the examples), notes to tables and figures, and footnotes, including figure footnotes. However, table footnotes can be normative. -- Shalom Bresticker Shalom.Bresticker@motorola.com Design, Verification & Reuse Methodology Tel: +972 9 9522268 Motorola Semiconductor Israel, Ltd.
