Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2001 07:57:01 +0200 Regarding $swrite, the text says, "The $swrite family of tasks are based on the $fwrite family of tasks, ..." Gramatically, that entire sentence should be with singular verbs, i.e., "is based" instead of "are based," etc. In the continuation, $sformat, $swrite, $sdisplay appear several times in Courier font. They should be in bold Times font. Also, the sentence "The system task $sformat ..." ends with "with a one major difference." The word "a" should be deleted. |

At end of para. 5, changed $display to bold font. 2. In para. 5, sentence 1, added comma after "and only its second argument", so that it now reads, "Unlike the display and write family of output system tasks, $sformat always interprets its second argument, and only its second argument, as a format string."
