Description |
This section discusses how vpi_handle_by_multi_index() can be used on any object that has the vpiMultiArray property. Unfortunately, NO objects have this property! I took a look at the PTF history for 1364-2001. This was caused by a last minute change that was not fully implemented. This section and the include file were not changed to match the rest of the LRM. |
Fix |
Change the reference to "vpiMultiArray" in section 27.18 to "vpiArray". Remove vpiMultiArray from Annex G. This has been resolved via: http://boydtechinc.com/cgi-bin/issueproposal.pl?cmd=propose&pr=398 |

Fix replaced by etf@boyd.com on Mon Dec 15 12:35:59 2003 Change the reference to "vpiMultiArray" in section 27.18 to "vpiArray". Remove vpiMultiArray from Annex G. From: Shalom Bresticker <Shalom.Bresticker@motorola.com> To: ptf-bugs@boyd.com Cc: Subject: Re: errata/397: PROPOSAL - 27.18 vpiMultiArray defined but not in diagrams Date: Tue, 16 Dec 2003 15:31:43 +0200 As I understand it, the routine described in 27.18, vpi_handle_by_multi_index, is intended to access both nets and regs, but vpiArray is true only for variables. Besides that, the proposal is inconsistent with the correspondence on issues 333 and 398. I suggest that all three issues be dealt with together.
