Description |
These were originally filed by Anne Harris in her ballot comments on Draft 6, but they seem not to have been fixed although they seem to be real errata. In 15.2.3, paragraphs 8-9, we have the following: "When both setup and hold limits are positive and the data event occurs first, the endpoints of the time window are determined as follows: (beginning of time window) = (timecheck time) - limit (end of time window) = (timecheck time) And the $setuphold timing check reports a timing violation in the following case: (beginning of time window) < (timecheck time) <= (end of time window)" In the last quote line, it seems that "timecheck time" should be "timestamp time". The same error occurs in 15.2.6, paragraph 8. I have a bunch of other problems with 15.2, but they are mostly editorial. |
Fix |
In 15.2.3, paragraphs 9, CHANGE: "(beginning of time window) < (timecheck time) <= (end of time window)" TO: "(beginning of time window) < (timestamp time) <= (end of time window)" This changes "timecheck" to "timestamp". Note that the quoted line occurs twice in this section. Only the first should be changed. The same change should be made in 15.2.6, paragraph 8. There also, it occurs twice and only the first should be changed. |
