Description |
With respect to the issues below, I looked at the FrameMaker source file: Regarding the footnote symbols, in the source, each footnote has a special character, such as * or dagger, etc. When converting it to a PDF version, it seems that most of the symbols did not come out, probably due to font problems. When there are so many footnotes, it is much more logical to number them, as we did originally. I will try to get IEEE to do it our way, when the time comes. I have not yet looked at what the IEEE Style Manual says about this. Regarding the font sizes, the text of the footnotes is in 9-point size, whereas BNF terms such as "white_space" appear in 10-point size. I do not know why that was done. I will consult IEEE when the time comes. Fix |
Shalom (editor) to implement the replacement back to what we had before the IEEE's changes. |
