Also get permission to share second edition PDF around committee. Update: Done. Frame Source received. Mac will send Frame Source to Slalom/Stuart. AI-2/Mac: Obtain the services of an editor. Scope: 40 pages? More? Less? Update: No progress. AI-3/Mac: Approach Lynn to serve as IEEE (1364?) Secretary. Update: Mac to report back soon AI-4/Cliff: Revisit how his PDF was obtained Update: See Cliff's email send to EFT reflector dated 8/12/02 with subject: Fwd: Complimentary Copy: IEEE Std 1364-2001 AI-5/Mac: Contact Andy Ickowicz and ask why Cliff's PDF is not being distributed by IEEE. AI-6/Cliff: Send ETF members copy of his "golden" PDF pending receipt of permission to do so from Andy Ickowicz. AI-7/Shalom: Investigate IEEE rules regarding the timeframe for balloting corrigendum. AI-8/Shalom, Stu: Create comparison documents showing change bars between 1995 an 2001 standards. AI-9/Shalom: Enter all issues into database that were part of Cliff's requested errata fixes, but are not yet in database. AI-10/Stu: Enter PLI issues into database. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Errata List Discussion: * Errata items in database marked with class "doc-bug" have not been updated with information requested in last meeting. If not already done, please forward the information requested of you regarding the 4-5 errata items assigned to you in the last meeting ASAP. * Discussion of Errata Item #3: - Much discussion regarding handling of system tasks in constant functions. - Reclassify item as a "errata-discuss". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Proposal by Karen: Going forward, propose we meet every 2 weeks alternating between a combined 1364/ETF meeting, and a dedicated ETF meeting. The next meeting would be a dedicated ETF meeting, and the following a combined 1364/ETF meeting. Only combined 1364/ETF meetings would be counted towards attendance and voting rights. Second: Steven Result: Approved ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Proposal by Mac: Request that the IEEE continue distributing the current (1st edition) version of IEEE 1364-2001 for now, but to discontinue printing new copies of it. When errata process is completed, publish the errata and begin making available the 2nd edition IEEE 1364-2001. Post some kind of notice that there are issues with the 1st edition and that a 2nd edition, and errata document, are forthcoming. Second: Cliff Result: Approved (with much wining)
